Cold Laser Therapy was first developed in the 1960s.
It is also called low-level laser therapy, soft laser therapy, High Powered Laser Therapy or photobiomodulation.

Yes! It was FDA approved in 2001, with over 4000 studies having been conducted.
There are a few contraindications, which will be discussed when you are booking your appointment.
Otherwise, just be sure to keep our special protective glasses on and enjoy the healing.

Treatment times vary depending on your condition, but generally range from 5 - 15 minutes.
Higher pain conditions can take longer. Plan on at least 30 minutes for your first session.
Post operative treatments generally take 20 - 30 minutes depending on the surgery. Plan for 45 minutes for these sessions.

The laser creates a nice warm feeling on the area being treated, which tends to relax your muscles.
Some people even fall asleep if laying down. It is very soothing. :)

Loose fitting clothes in order to be able to reveal the painful area.
The laser must be applied directly to the skin.

Most conditions require a series of treatments over a few weeks to see results.
Many of our clients do see benefits on the first visit.
If you have acute pain that is severe, the ideal treatment is 5 days in a row for optimal results.
If you have chronic pain that is severe, the ideal treatment is 3 times a week for two weeks, or 2 times a week for 3 weeks.
We will work with you until your pain is minimized, gone or at a manageable level.
Everyone’s body reacts differently to laser therapy, so there is no guarantee or absolute. However, in our experience, the overwhelming majority of people respond very favorably to the treatments!
We will recommend the best schedule for optimal results in the quickest time frame.

Unfortunately laser therapy is not covered by insurance. We are a cash pay business and payment is due upon service.
